Netflix has announced its programming schedule for January 2026, confirming dozens of new titles and returning series alongside a significant wave of removals. More than 150 films will exit the platform on January 1, while new originals and licensed content will debut throughout the month.
The streaming service begins the year with a packed release calendar. Several Netflix Originals are set to premiere, including Free Bert (Season 1), a comedy series starring Bert Kreischer; Single’s Inferno (Season 5), the South Korean dating show; Take That (2026), a documentary on the British pop group; and Undercover Miss Hong (Season 1), a Korean drama.
On January 1, Netflix will add a wide range of films and series. Highlights include 12 Years a Slave (2013), District 9 (2009), Ford v Ferrari (2019), Free Solo (2018), Man on Fire (2004), Pitch Perfect (2012) and its sequel, and Priscilla (2023). Classic titles such as Conan the Destroyer (1984), Twins (1988), and Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life (1983) will also be available. Television additions include Falling Skies (Seasons 1–5) and Transformers: Earthspark (Season 3).
Subsequent days will see further releases. On January 2, After the Quake (2025), Found (Seasons 1–2), and Land of Sin (Season 1) will arrive. January 3 brings The Following (Seasons 1–3). January 5 introduces Defying Destiny (Season 1), while January 6 adds Good Cop / Bad Cop (Season 1).
January 7 features 11.22.63, based on Stephen King’s novel, along with Marcello Hernández’s stand-up special American Boy and Unlocked: A Jail Experiment (Season 2). January 8 premieres HIS & HERS, starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, and Love is Blind: Germany (Season 2).
Additional highlights include People We Meet on Vacation (2025) on January 9, Bob Marley: One Love (2024) on January 12, The Queen of Flow (Season 3) on January 14, and Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials on January 15. That same day, Netflix will add the full James Bond film collection, spanning Dr. No (1962) through No Time to Die (2021).
Later in the month, viewers can expect Licorice Pizza (2021) on January 16, The Rip (2026) starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, Sandokan (Season 1) on January 19, and Rizzoli & Isles (Seasons 1–7) on January 20. January 22 introduces Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (2026) and Finding Her Edge (Season 1). On January 23, Netflix will stream Skyscraper Live (2026), featuring climber Alex Honnold’s skyscraper ascent in Taipei, alongside The Big Fake (2026).
The month concludes with Mike Epps: Delusional (2026) on January 27 and Bridgerton (Season 4, Volume 1) on January 29.
Netflix has confirmed that January will also be one of the busiest months for removals, with over 150 films leaving on the first day alone and additional series scheduled to depart throughout the month.
